Hi, I'm Maddie, the creator behind Lumina, based in beautiful Cornwall. I've loved jewellery for as long as I can remember- always stacking bracelets and sneaking them into school, even when I wasn't supposed to! Growing up surrounded by crystals (thanks to my mum's passion for them), I developed a deep appreciation for their beauty and energy.Lumina was born out of my desire to create timeless, meaningful jewellery that combines the natural power of crystals with the elegance of gold beads and components. Diana has lived in West Cornwall for most of her life, graduating from Falmouth College of Arts in 1999. In her often detailed collages and paintings she takes great pleasure in detail, particularly in the buildings of West Cornwall, often piling them up to create a new composition: Chapel Street in Penzance, Lemon Street in Truro, Falmouth, St Ives, Marazion and St Michael’s Mount, Helston and Porthleven.
Pam is a self taught paper artist taking inspiration from nature and in particular the diverse range of plant life found right here in Cornwall, from the traditional hedgerows to the sub tropical gardens.
Working with different types of paper, alongside acrylic paints, inks and pastels, Pam recreates 3D sculptural flowers and miniature collectibles.
Each piece is made by hand, using various methods and paper cutting techniques. Pam uses her own photographs, found botanical plates and the occasional real flower to inform her work, although she much prefers to leave the real thing for the bees, insects, and other people to enjoy
