Claire Humphreys - A Northern Light

Claire Humphreys from A Northern Light creates handmade paper lamps, lampshades, and homeware featuring her own hand drawn illustrations.  "My inspiration comes from the natural world, patterns and graphics. Each lamp, lampshade and candle cover is finished with a solid wooden ring that completes the natural and simple look of the product" - Claire Humphreys. Claire grew up loving painting, art and creating things and has always had an ongoing creative project of some sort - be that illustrating painting or sewing. Melody Ryder

Melody Ryder studied textiles at university and since finishing has been producing hand-made lamps and hand- cut wedding stationery. She passionately believes in making lamps both functional and unique, and her designs are influenced by the Cornish landscape and the playful imagination of her two young children. Melody enjoys hunting for beautiful used fabrics to use within the lampshades and subsequently has an abundance of material. In response to this, Melody has started to make ‘up-cycled’ bunting, finished off with satin ribbon to match her lampshade designs.

Jo Soar

Jo Soar lives in beautiful West Cornwall where she spends most days creating whimsical animal characters from dry wool fleece. Each piece has bespoke handmade clothes and props to carry your imagination further into their world. These unique​ sculptures are then mounted on to anything from collected driftwood to old tools, books and children’s vintage building blocks.

Helen Round

Helen Round is a British textile designer and print maker. Her classic designs, inspired by the flora and fauna of the countryside and coastline are hand printed onto the highest quality linen using traditional screen printing techniques. Helen’s designs start life as sketch book scribbles, fine line drawings capturing the surrounding beauty of Cornwall. The collections of simple and functional linen homeware and kitchenware are all made and printed in the Cornish studios. Using small batch production and the best quality linen each piece is sewn by a team of skilled local artisans from start to finish. Shore Fired Pottery

Rebecca Davies creates hand thrown ceramics in an array of eye-catching glazes from her studio in North Cornwall. Her range features, cups, mugs, jars, jugs and much more. "My pottery is inspired by my passion for the North Cornish coastline and love of table top ceramics.
