Claire Humphreys - A Northern Light

Claire Humphreys from A Northern Light creates handmade paper lamps, lampshades, and homeware featuring her own hand drawn illustrations.

Claire grew up loving painting, art and creating things and has always had an ongoing creative project of some sort - be that illustrating painting or sewing. Claire always came back to illustration but felt something was missing as she wanted to design something ‘physical’ that could sit in her home. She began to explore whether she could put illustrations on lamps. After many hours of trialling designs, Claire finally managed it and A Northern Light was created!
